It takes time, but they soon learn how to control their sledging and how to maintain them on a regular basis. Pingu agrees to their terms and he and his friends all attend the lesson in the Academy's official jackets. His shock doesn't last too long as his parents tell him that they've signed him up for sledge academy and when he finishes with it, they'll give him back his sledge. When Pingu gets home, his parents are cross with him for his reckless behaviour and confiscate his sledge, much to Pingu's shock. The Instructor of the Academy is determined to change that and suggests to Pingu's dad that they join up too.
